When I first chose to begin my solopreneur journey, I knew I needed a plan that would keep me focused, motivated, and on track. That’s when I discovered the power of breaking down a traditional 90-day plan into what I now call the:


90 / 3 Plan SoloGrit Action Plan.


This approach divides 90 days into three manageable 30-day blocks, each with a specific purpose that drives you closer to your ultimate goal.


Today, I want to share how the 90 / 3 Plan can transform your solopreneur business, just like it has for many others who have used this method to achieve remarkable results.

Why the 90 / 3 Plan Works

I covered goal setting for business growth in another article; now, we need to be actionable.


The 90 / 3 Plan is designed to keep you focused and flexible. It’s long enough to see significant progress but short enough to stay motivated and adjust as needed.


Here’s why breaking your 90 days into three 30-day blocks is so effective:


  • Block 1: Focus and Clarity: The first 30 days allow you to lay the groundwork. This period is about building momentum and setting the stage for success. For example, if your goal is to grow your online audience, this block might focus on content creation and engagement strategies.


  • Block 2: Adjustment and Optimization: The second 30 days are critical for evaluating your progress and making necessary adjustments. By this point, you’ll have data on what’s working and what isn’t. This block is all about refining your strategy and optimizing your efforts.


  • Block 3: Scaling and Final Push: The last 30 days are your opportunity to scale what’s working and make a strong final push toward your goal. With two months of insights under your belt, you can double down on successful tactics and drive toward the finish line.


How to Implement the 90 / 3 SoloGrit Plan

  • Step 1: Identify Your Priority

    Start by identifying the one priority that will make the biggest difference in your business over the next 90 days. This could be anything from increasing sales to launching a new product or growing your online presence.

Example: If your priority is to grow your online audience, your 90-day goal might be to increase your Instagram followers by 30%.

  • Step 2: Set a Specific Goal for Each 30-Day Block.

    Break your overall goal down into three specific, outcome-oriented goals for each 30-day block. Each goal should build on the previous one, helping you maintain focus and momentum.


Example:

  • Block 1: Develop and implement a content strategy that includes daily Instagram posts.


  • Block 2: Analyze the performance of your content and optimize your strategy based on what’s working.


  • Block 3: Scale your efforts by collaborating with influencers and running targeted campaigns.

  • Step 3: Take Consistent Action

    Once your goals are set, break them down into daily and weekly actions. Consistency is key to the success of the 90 by 3 Plan.


Example
:

  • Daily: Post new content and engage with your audience.


  • Weekly: Review analytics and adjust your strategy.


  • Monthly: Implement changes based on what you have learned and prepare for the next 30-day block.
  • Step 4: Stay Accountable and Adjust

    Schedule regular check-ins, either weekly or bi-weekly, to review your progress. Use these sessions to make necessary adjustments and ensure you’re staying on track.
